Hi, I'm Gabrielle Alper. Welcome to my profile!
Gabrielle Alper's Bio:
Hello, my name is Gabrielle Alper. I am a student at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF). I am graduating this spring with a B.S. degree in Environmental Studies: Policy, Planning & Law. I am captivated by many aspects of urban and community planning. I recently became a member of the American Planning Association to supplement my undergraduate level understanding of techniques, strategies, case studies and new ideas in the realm of planning. Some of the best experiences I have obtained during my studies at SUNY ESF include involvement in creating a climate action plan, critiquing environmental impact statements, and serving as head layout and design for The Knothole, ESF's official publication. Looking ahead, I plan to attend graduate school in order to receive a master's degree in the field of planning. In the meantime, I would like to obtain real world experience in urban planning, community planning, sustainability planning, or any related field. Whether an internship or entry level job, I am interested in any planning position that will prove fruitful and challenging. I am also interested in speaking to anyone passionate about planning. If you are compelled to talk about planning, please feel free to contact me anytime. [email protected]
